January 27, 1964 — The single My Bonnie is released in the U.S.  The Beatles originally were credited as the Beat Brothers for the track and provided backup vocals to Tony Sheridan.  But when the initial U.S. release of “My Bonnie”/”The Saints” was cancelled in 1962, it was re-released in 1964 as The Beatles with Tony Sheridan.  The song is also part of the rare Decca Auditions and can be found on Anthology 1.
