December 4, 1964 - The Beatles for Sale LP is released in the UK.

To commemorate the album, I’ve posted the Fab Four performing “Baby’s in Black” from their 1965 concert at Shea Stadium. It’s simply 2 1/2 minutes of Beatle bliss with John speaking jibberish and referring to the album as “Beatles 6”, a crazed female fan being chased by cops and a sweaty John and Paul singing cheek to cheek into a pair of microphones duct taped together.

Simply heaven.
