TODAY IN BEATLEDOM

September 25, 1995 This issue of Forbes Magazine, titled “Guess Who’s Back” hits newstands - it details the top moneymakers in entertainment for the year.

With the release of The Anthology, The Beatles quickly made their way back onto the main stage of music…where they belong.  In 1994, Live at the BBC was released, which gave Beatle fans a chance to experience some never-before-heard live tracks by the Fab Four.  Then, in ‘95, came the glorious Anthology.

Anthology 1 sold 450,000 copies in its first day, the most sales for an album in a single day ever.  In total, there are 3 Anthology music albums as well as a DVD Box Set with rare footage, interviews, etc.  It’s a must-have for any Beatles fan.

With the incredible amount of Beatles’ bootlegs still in existence - floating all around cyberspace - the possibility of another Beatles’ Anthology-esque album isn’t too farfetched.
