The Beatles’ roadie, Neil Aspinall, fathered a child
That pretty much sums it up right there. When Aspinall was 19 years old, he became romantically involved with Mona Best, Pete Best’s mother, who was 20 years older than him. The result was Vincent “Roag” Best, who was born in July 1962. Just three weeks later, Pete Best left the group.
