July 24, 1967 The Beatles, Brian Epstein and other prominent celebrities sign an advertisement in The Times in London calling for the legalization of marijuana.

The Beatles, of course, were no strangers to drugs, especially marijuana.  Here’s the Fab Four performing the previously unreleased song “What’s the New Mary Jane” off of the Anthology.
