July 11, 1964 This photo was taken by Leslie Bruce, who put together the “Beatles Book” - a huge pictoral of the Fab Four.  Here is George showing off his brand new, E-type Jaguar in London.

The caption is difficult to read, but it indicates that this car “even had a record player” in it, which was a “rare addition to the basic model in 1964.”  Translation:  George was rollin’ in the dough.
