February 24, 1982 — At the 24th Grammy Awards, John Lennon and Yoko Ono win Album of the Year for Double Fantasy.  Yoko and Sean Lennon accepted the award on John’s behalf in what has become one of the most emotional and iconic moments in Grammy history.
